ALEX AMOR LOVE LANGUAGE

Alex Amor has dropped her final single in support of her first EP, which is out now. ‘Love Language’ is filled to the brim with creativity: it opens with a distant sample, before bursting out into catchy, dreamy pop defined by jangly guitars and huge harmonies. She explains that her EP’s title track is “a reference to Gary Chapman's book ‘The Five Love Languages’ which expands on the 5 different ways humans show affection in a relationship. It’s about a relationship that fails to align in that way.” Her vocal influences are as wide as choral music sung in choirs growing up, to the rhythm of rap, and you can feel both sides of this spectrum across her entire output. -Dan Peeke
